FAQ
Is there a 20-recipe limit like other free recipe apps?
No. You can save as many recipes as you want. There are no locked features and no subscription. The app is supported by ads.
Do I need an account? Can I lose my recipes?
There is no account. Recipes are stored on your phone, so a sync failure or server outage can't wipe them. Back up to a file and restore on a new phone.
How do I save recipes from websites?
Share the recipe page to Recipot or paste the link. If a page isn't detected, paste the recipe text and Recipot splits it into ingredients and steps.
Can I edit an imported recipe?
Yes. Ingredients, steps, servings, notes and folder are all editable.
Does it flag duplicates?
Yes. If you already saved that link, Recipot tells you.
Does the screen stay on while I cook?
Yes. Cook mode keeps the screen on and shows one step at a time in big text.
Are there ads during import?
No. Ads appear only after you finish saving or when you open a recipe.
