When to read morning and evening adhkar
The Quran tells believers to glorify their Lord before sunrise and before sunset (50:39; see also 33:42). Based on this, many scholars explain that the best time for morning adhkar is from Fajr until around sunrise, and for evening adhkar from Asr until around sunset. Scholars differ on where each window ends.
Commonly mentioned time windows
| Session | Commonly recommended | Wider view |
|---|---|---|
| Morning | After Fajr until around sunrise | Some extend it into the forenoon (Duha) |
| Evening | After Asr until around sunset | Some include after Maghrib into the early night |
If you missed the window
Scholars also differ on reading after the window has passed. Many point out that remembering Allah is good at any time. If your schedule is irregular, a reminder at roughly the same time every day is the most practical habit.
How Wirdly helps
Wirdly opens the morning or evening session on the first screen at the times you set, with no location or prayer-time calculation. You can get one gentle reminder per session.
