How to keep up your daily adhkar

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said that the deeds most beloved to Allah are the most consistent, even if they are small (Sahih al-Bukhari 6464, Sahih Muslim 783). With adhkar too, a little every day lasts longer than a lot that stops after a week.

Five ways to stay consistent

  • Start small: a few short adhkar first, such as Sayyid al-Istighfar (al-Bukhari 6306).
  • Anchor to something you already do: after Fajr, after Asr, when you get into bed.
  • Learn the meaning: understanding keeps your focus and helps you memorize.
  • One reminder per session: too many and you will turn them all off.
  • Watch your streak: a check mark and a day count bring you back.

When you miss a day

Missing a day does not mean starting over. Pick up at the next session. Consistency is about coming back, not being perfect.

How Wirdly helps

Wirdly opens the current session as soon as you open it, so there is no hunting for the athkar button. Tap to count, and finished sessions build your streak. The home screen widget shows what is left today.

This is general guidance, not a religious ruling. For details, ask a qualified scholar.
