Frequently asked questions
I worked 3 hours past quitting time. How many days is that?
Enter the hours and Tallyday converts them. With the default 8 hours = 1 day, 11 hours is 1.375 days. If your crew counts differently, change the hours per day in settings.
Can my pay period run from the 21st to the 20th?
Yes. Pick any start day from the 1st to the 28th and totals follow that period, e.g. May 21 – June 20.
Does it show take-home pay after tax?
Yes. Choose 3.3% withholding, Korean daily worker income tax or none, and take-home pay appears under the calendar.
I work at several sites a month. Can I tell them apart?
Every site has its own color on the calendar, and you get totals per site.
What about days split between two sites?
Log each site separately on the same day, e.g. 0.5 at site A and 0.5 at site B.
Can I mark days as paid?
Paid days get a strike-through and a green dot, and you can settle a whole period at once.
How do I move my records to a new phone?
Back up to a file in settings and restore it on the new phone. No account and no storage permission. CSV export is there too.
Is there a widget?
Yes. The home screen widget adds +1 day for today without opening the app.
