How to Merge and Split PDFs on Android for Free

You need to combine several contracts into one file, or pull five pages out of a 100-page deck — and searching 'merge PDF' mostly surfaces upload-based websites and apps demanding a subscription. Here is how to do it free, without watermarks, and without your files ever leaving your phone.

The catch with web converter sites

Free PDF merge sites look convenient, but they work by uploading your files to their servers. For contracts, payslips or ID copies, it's hard to verify how long files are kept or when they're deleted. Many also add daily limits, watermarks, or sign-up walls.

An offline tool that processes everything on-device removes all of that. Your documents never leave your phone, there's nothing to leak, and it works with no network at all.

Merging multiple PDFs into one

In Breeze PDF, open the Tools tab and choose 'Merge PDF'. The order you pick files in becomes the page order, and you can adjust it before running. The merge finishes on-device in seconds.

The result lands in your Downloads/BreezePDF folder — no watermark, no page limit. Open and share it right away from the Files tab.

  • Tools tab → choose 'Merge PDF'
  • Select the PDFs in the order you want
  • Confirm the order and run the merge
  • Find and share the result in Downloads/BreezePDF

Splitting: extract only the pages you need

Split pulls selected pages out of a large document into a new PDF. In 'Split PDF' under Tools, pick the document and specify a page range — a new file containing just those pages is created.

It's perfect for sharing today's chapter from a 100-page lecture deck, or sending only the signature page of a contract. The original file stays untouched; only the extracted file is saved as new.

Image-to-PDF conversion lives in the same place

Next to merge and split you'll find conversion tools: bundle several photos into one PDF, or save each page of a PDF as a PNG image. Handy for homework submissions and organizing materials.

All four tools are free, and every result goes to the same folder — Downloads/BreezePDF. You'll never wonder where a converted file went.
