Can I rename zones or add my own rooms?
Yes. Zones, rooms and tasks can all be added, renamed, reordered or deleted, and nothing is locked. Two bathrooms? Add two.
Can I work on a zone that isn't this week's?
Yes. This week's zone is only highlighted. Open any other zone at any time, or change this week's zone in Settings.
Does the timer ring when my screen is off?
Yes. It alerts you with a notification and vibration the moment time is up. Allow Android's "Alarms & reminders" and it rings exactly on time.
Do I need an account or internet?
No. There is no login and it works offline. Your routines and history stay on your phone.
Is there a paid version?
No. Every feature is available and the app is supported by ads.
Can I share chores with my family?
Zestday is a personal routine app on one device. It focuses on fast one-tap checking rather than syncing between phones.
What happens if I miss a day?
No penalties or red marks. That day just stays empty on the calendar, and one task the next day starts your streak again.
How do I keep track of deep cleaning?
Add tasks like the oven, windows or curtains to the Every few months list with a repeat interval, and Zestday shows the last time you did them and what's due.
