Brain dump journal ยท Thought organizer
Thinksheet is a brain dump journal for overthinking days. Write a title and up to six short lines while a 60-second ring runs, and you are done. Tap any line to turn it into the title of a new linked sheet and dig one level deeper. Thinksheet brings your sheets back after 7, 30 and 90 days so you can see what got resolved. An Android app on Google Play.

Why people quit their journal app
"Many of my journal entries have completely disappeared"
"You have to pay for premium to get privacy"
"My Google Drive is full so I can't back up"
"It claims to allow you to export. It does NOT!"
"I find the layout quite cluttered"
"Please, don't use my diary to train AI"
Thinksheet: one minute, six lines, on your phone, exportable as .md any time
"A brain dump you can actually finish"
Fast, messy, frequent. That is how thoughts get clear
60-second ring
Tap write and a 60-second ring starts. Keep going when it runs out; only the color changes.
A title and six lines
One format. A title and six short lines make a sheet.
Tap a line to dig deeper
Any line becomes the title of a new linked sheet. A vague worry turns into a next step in three or four sheets.
Revisit at 7, 30, 90 days
Old sheets come back. Mark them Resolved, Still there or Dig again with one tap.
10 sheets a day
A ring and a streak show your progress. Stuck? Start from a suggested title.
Search everything
Search every title and line, with sheets grouped by day.
.md export and import
Export all sheets as Markdown files in one .zip, and import .zip or .md back.
No account, phone only
No sign-up, no server, no subscription. Works offline; nobody reads your sheets.

How it works
Write a 1-minute sheet
Write a title, then six lines as they come. Fast and messy is fine.
Tap the line that sticks
It becomes the title of the next sheet. Add a one-line conclusion and next action.
Revisit
When a sheet comes back after 7, 30 or 90 days, mark it Resolved, Still there or Dig again.
FAQ
Will my journal entries disappear?
Sheets are saved to a database on your phone as you type. Export everything as .md files in a .zip at any time and import it on a new phone or after reinstalling.
Do I need an account or a subscription?
No. There is no account, no server and no subscription. Install it and start writing.
Are my notes uploaded or used to train AI?
No. Sheets stay on this phone and are never sent anywhere. Nobody reads them and they are not used to train AI.
Does export actually work? What format?
Yes. Settings exports all sheets as Markdown (.md) files in one .zip, which opens in any notes app, including Obsidian. You can import .zip or .md files back.
Why one minute and six lines?
A hard limit removes the pressure of starting and makes a sheet easy to finish. Many quick sheets clear your head better than one long entry. You can keep writing after 60 seconds.
How does dig deeper work?
Open a sheet and tap the line that bothers you. It becomes the title of a new sheet linked to the first. Three or four sheets usually turn a vague worry into a concrete next step.
How do I look back at old thoughts?
Thinksheet brings back sheets from 7, 30 and 90 days ago. Mark each Resolved, Still there or Dig again. Search finds any title or line.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Every feature works without an internet connection.
