How to Convert Photos to PDF on Android: a 3-Minute Guide

Step 1: Pick the photos

Open Snapdoc and tap 'Convert to PDF'. The system photo picker appears — because it is the system picker, the app never asks for full gallery access and can only see the photos you choose.

You can select many photos at once, and add more later from the arrange screen with the + tile. One forgotten page doesn't mean starting over.

Step 2: Check and fine-tune the order

Page order makes or breaks a document. Snapdoc uses natural sorting that understands the numbers in file names, so 1, 2 … 10, 11 stays 1, 2 … 10, 11. Many converters scramble this into 1, 10, 11, 2.

Landscape shots can be rotated upright with the rotate button on each thumbnail, and arrows move pages forward or backward. You can also reverse the whole list in one tap.

• Tap the sort chip to switch between A→Z and Z→A
• Use ◀ ▶ on a thumbnail to move a single page
• Rotate landscape photos upright
• Remove unwanted pages with X

Step 3: Choose options and convert

Tap 'Create PDF' to set the file name, page size (A4, Letter, fit-to-image), orientation, quality (Original to Low) and white margins. For paperwork, A4 with High quality works well; for photo albums, fit-to-image keeps the framing.

Conversion runs on-device in seconds and the PDF lands in your Documents/Snapdoc folder. Share it from the result screen or open it in the built-in viewer.

Avoiding common mistakes

If you rely on file names for ordering, leave the camera's original names untouched — they encode the shooting order. Mixing screenshots and camera photos can break name-based order; manual arrangement is the safe move there.

If the recipient will print the document, turn on 'White margin'. It keeps content clear of the printer's non-printable edge.
