How to never miss a bill due date
Most late fees happen because a date slipped, not because the money wasn't there. Put rent, credit cards, utilities, phone, internet and subscriptions in one list, get a reminder before each due date and mark each bill paid as soon as you pay it. That alone prevents most missed payments.
A 4-step bill routine
- List every recurring bill with its name, amount and due date.
- Set how often it repeats (weekly, monthly, yearly) and enter it once.
- Get a reminder the evening before and on the morning it is due.
- Mark it paid right away and check what is left to pay this month.
