Tabkin is an Android app for shared expenses. Make a group, add names, log what each person paid, and it does the math for you. The Settle up tab shows the fewest transfers needed, like "Sam → Alex: $69", so nobody sends money back and forth.

Groups with just names
Make a group for a trip, a shared flat, a dinner or a couple. Add people by name, add late joiners any time, and hide people who left.
Amount, then Save
Type the amount and tap Save. It defaults to the last payer and an equal split. No countdown, no daily limit.
Four ways to split
Equally among ticked people, exact amounts, shares or percentages. It shows what's left to assign until it adds up, and totals always match to the cent.
Fewest transfers
Settle up minimizes transfers back and forth. Tap Sent when someone pays to record it, and undo any time. You can also record a payment by hand.
Share as an image
Send the result as an image card plus text to any chat app. Your friends don't need to install anything.
Totals and categories
See what each person paid, their share, and what they get back or owe. Spending by category (food, coffee, drinks, groceries, transport, stay and more) is guessed from the title and easy to change.
Foreign currency
Log expenses in another currency using the exchange rate you enter, converted to the group currency. Works offline, no live rates needed.
Search, CSV, widget
Search expenses, export to CSV, and add from a home-screen widget that shows your latest group total. An evening reminder is optional and only runs while a group is active.

Log expenses
Enter the amount and save. Change the payer or the split only when you need to.
Settle up and share
Check who owes who, share the image card to your group chat, and tap Sent as people pay.
FAQ
Do my friends need to install the app?
No. One person can keep the group. Share the settle-up result as an image card and text to any chat app, and everyone can see who owes who without Tabkin.
Is there a limit on how many expenses I can add?
No. There is no daily limit and no waiting before you can save. Log as many expenses as your trip needs.
Can I split in different currencies?
Yes. Pick the currency for an expense and enter the exchange rate you got; Tabkin converts it to the group currency. It doesn't fetch live rates, so it works offline.
Can I split unequally?
Yes. Split equally among the people you tick, by exact amounts, by shares (for example 2:1:1) or by percentages. Tabkin shows what's left to assign until it adds up, and spreads any leftover cent so totals always match.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Everything works without an internet connection, including on a plane or abroad without data.
Where is my data stored?
On your phone only. There is no sign-up and no account. You can export a group to CSV if you want a copy.
Does Tabkin send money?
No. Tabkin works out who owes who and keeps a record. People pay each other however they normally do, then you tap Sent to record it.
Is it free?
Tabkin is free to download and supported by ads. Currency conversion, search and CSV export are not behind a paywall.
