LullawaveWhite noise that never wakes the baby
Shush ยท Heartbeat ยท Womb ยท Vacuum ยท Lullabies ยท Sleep timer
Shush, womb sounds, heartbeat, white, pink and brown noise, vacuum, hair dryer, rain and music-box lullabies are generated right on your phone, so they loop with no 1-second gap. Layer up to 3 and save the mix, let it play all night with the screen off, and when the timer ends the sound fades out slowly instead of cutting off. Available on Google Play for Android.

Did a white noise app wake your baby?
"Comes up with loud ads when you are playing the sounds woke my baby up"
"It keeps stopping in the middle of the night, which wakes me up! Defeats the whole purpose"
"When timer is over the sound goes away way too fast, makes my baby wake up"
Weekly subscriptions and one accidental tap away from an expensive purchase
Lullawave: silent ads, all-night playback, a slow fade-out and no purchases ๐
Built so the baby stays asleep
No jumps in sound from the moment you press play to the moment it stops
Every ad is silent
Ads play muted, always. And there is never an ad in front of play, stop, the timer or picking a sound.
15 gapless sounds
In the womb, gentle shush, heartbeat, white, pink and brown noise, night fan, hair dryer, vacuum, soft rain, slow waves, car ride and music-box lullabies (Brahms lullaby, Twinkle little star, Moon chimes). Generated on the phone, so there are no loop clicks.
Layer up to 3, save mixes
Overlay a shush on white noise, add a heartbeat underneath, set each volume separately and save the mix for next time.
A timer that fades out
15 minutes to 1.5 hours, or no timer. At the end the sound fades over 10 seconds to 3 minutes, and it eases in over 5 seconds when it starts.
Plays all night, screen off
Runs as a media playback service, so it keeps going with the screen off. Pause or stop from the notification; one-tap play from the home-screen widget.
Early wake guard
Starts your last mix at a set time, like 04:30, when your baby usually stirs, to help them drift back.
Automatic sleep log
Every time the sound runs is logged for you: last night, the last 7 days and naps.
No account, no purchases, offline
There is nothing to buy, so there is nothing to tap by accident. Works without internet, with a dark screen made for the nursery.

How it works
Pick a sound
Shush, heartbeat, vacuum or whatever your baby settles to. Layer two or three if you like.
Set the timer
15 minutes to 1.5 hours, or all night. Choose how slowly it should fade out at the end.
Turn the screen off
It keeps playing. The sleep log fills in by itself, and the early wake guard restarts your mix at the time you set.
Frequently asked questions
Will ads wake my baby?
No ad in Lullawave makes a sound: every ad is muted. Ads also never appear when you start or stop the sound, set the timer or pick a sound, so nothing interrupts while you are putting the baby down.
Why does white noise stop in the middle of the night?
Usually the phone's battery optimization closes background apps, another app takes over the audio, or a timer ran out. Lullawave runs as a media playback service, so it keeps playing with the screen off and shows its status in the notification. If it still stops, set Lullawave's battery usage to "Unrestricted" in Android settings.
Can I layer shush on top of white noise?
Yes. Layer up to 3 sounds and set each volume separately, for example white noise as a base with a quieter shush on top. Save the combination as a mix and start it with one tap next time.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Every sound is generated on the phone, so it plays in airplane mode or with no signal, in the car, on a walk or while travelling.
How loud should it be and how far from the crib?
General guidance is to keep it quiet, roughly the level of a soft shower, and to place the phone across the room rather than in or right next to the crib. Using a timer with a fade-out also means it does not run loud all night. Every baby is different, so follow your pediatrician's advice.
Does the sound cut off when the timer ends?
No. When the timer ends the sound fades out over 10 seconds to 3 minutes (30 seconds by default) before stopping. It also eases in over 5 seconds when you start it.
Can I get charged by accident?
No. Lullawave has no in-app purchases, no subscriptions and no account. It is supported by ads, and every ad is silent.
Is it a baby monitor or cry detector?
No. Lullawave plays sleep sounds; it is not a baby monitor, does not use the microphone and does not give medical advice. Its early wake guard can restart your last mix at a time you choose instead.
