EbblineTide chart & tide times

Ebbline is an Android tide app that draws the whole day as one 24-hour tide curve. See whether the water is rising or falling, the current height, and how long until high tide. Every prediction is calculated on your phone from published harmonic constants, so it opens on the pier with no signal.

Why tide apps get frustrating

"No graphs = not very useful"

Only the "next five days", hard to plan ahead

No signal at the beach, nothing loads

Widgets and alerts locked behind a subscription

Daylight saving bugs push times off by an hour

Hard to find stations when in different areas or countries

Ebbline gives you one big curve, a month calendar, and free alerts and widget, all offline

FAQ

Does it have a tide chart, not just a table?

Yes. The home screen is a full 24-hour tide chart with a marker for now and every high and low tide. People told us "no graphs = not very useful", so the graph comes first.

Does it work offline?

Yes. Tide times are calculated on your phone from harmonic constants, so it works on piers, boats and beaches with no signal. No account or sign-in.

Can I see more than the next five days?

Yes. The calendar shows the first high tide for every day of the month, and you can swipe the chart to any date.

Is there a 12 hr time option?

Yes. Choose 12-hour or 24-hour time, feet or meters, and MLLW or mean sea level in settings.

Will it show tide changes when in different areas or countries?

Yes. About 8,700 stations across the US, Canada, Japan, Europe, Australia and more, each shown in its own time zone with daylight saving handled. Korea is not covered yet.

Can I save my favourite place and local beach?

Yes. Star any station and switch between favorites with one tap. The widget shows the next tide for your favorite.

Can I use it for navigation?

No. Ebbline shows predictions only and is not for navigation. Predictions do not include weather, storm surge or river flow.

Is it free?

Yes. Every feature, including alerts and the widget, is free and supported by ads.
