BP NoteThe blood pressure diary you fill in seconds
Today's reading, logged before you forget.
Type the systolic, diastolic and pulse from your monitor on a plain number pad. Your last reading is pre-filled, so you only change what's different. Color-coded categories and trend charts show where your numbers are heading.
Sound familiar?
Paper logbooks get lost, and comparing last month's numbers is hopeless
Other apps make you spin tiny dials to enter numbers — slow, and the text is small
Your doctor asks for your readings, but they're scattered everywhere
That's why we built BP Note
Only what you need, done right
From logging to charts and export — all free
Log in seconds with a keypad
No dial-spinning — just type the numbers. Your previous reading is pre-filled, so you only edit what changed. A home screen widget takes you straight to entry.
Color-coded categories
Every reading is classified into five ranges — low, normal, elevated, stage 1 and stage 2 — on a color gauge. You see where you stand at a glance.
Statistics & trend charts
Weekly, monthly and all-time averages with min and max, plus a line chart that shows which way your blood pressure is moving.
Morning vs evening
Home monitoring guidelines call for two readings a day. BP Note compares your morning and evening averages side by side, with reminders for both.
Calendar view & tags
See logged days on a calendar and tag the conditions — left arm, right arm, sitting, lying down, after medication. Dark mode included.
CSV export
Export your full history as a CSV that opens cleanly in Excel — dates, readings and tags in order, ready to show at your next appointment.
Three steps, that's it
Measure with your monitor
Take your reading with a validated home blood pressure monitor. The app doesn't measure — it keeps the record.
Type it on the keypad
Enter systolic, diastolic and pulse. With your last reading pre-filled, a few seconds is all it takes.
Watch the trend & share
Follow the charts and morning-evening comparison, and export a CSV to bring to your doctor.
Frequently asked questions
Can the app measure my blood pressure?
No. BP Note is a logging app only — it does not measure blood pressure. Smartphone sensors cannot produce medically reliable blood pressure readings. Use a validated blood pressure monitor to measure, then record the numbers in BP Note.
Where is my data stored?
Everything stays on your device. Nothing is sent to a server, and no account is needed. Before switching phones, we recommend exporting your history as a CSV to keep a copy.
Is it really free?
Yes. Logging, statistics, charts, reminders and CSV export are all free. Ads are shown, but placed so they never get in the way of entering a reading.
Why does the morning vs evening comparison matter?
Home monitoring guidelines recommend measuring twice a day — after waking and before bed — because blood pressure varies a lot within a day. Comparing the two time slots reveals patterns, like morning hypertension, that a single daily average would hide.
Can I show my records to my doctor?
Yes. CSV export turns your full history into a file you can open in Excel or print — dates, times, readings and tags in order. It's an easy way to bring organized data to an appointment.
